To all Local, State, and Federal Agencies:

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will be hosting three Clandestine Laboratory Re-Certification Schools throughout the state. Two (2) Re-Certification schools will be offered in Birmingham, Alabama on August 26, 2008 and August 27, 2008. A school will also be offered in Montgomery, Alabama on August 28, 2008. All recertification classes in both locations will begin at 9:00 a.m. and last all day. All Agents/Officers who are Clan Lab certified must be re-certified annually. Your assistance is requested in compiling a list of those in your office who require recertification and contact the nearest DEA office for the training location and to register for the training. Please be advised that since space is limited, each attendee must be registered for the recertification. Additionally, each attendee must bring his/her personal protective equipment, including Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and Air Purifying Respirator (APR).

All attendees must register by August 18, 2008.
